Step-by-Step Fitting Instructions

What You’ll Need:

A microwave oven

A wet paper towel

A shallow bowl of cold water

A microwave-safe plate

Step 1: Heating the Mouthguard

1. Wrap the mouthguard completely in a wet paper towel.

Note: If the mouthguard has a strap, do not wrap the strap.

2. Place the wrapped mouthguard on a microwave-safe plate.

3. Microwave on high for 30 seconds.

Step 2: Cooling the Mouthguard

1. Carefully remove the mouthguard from the microwave, ensuring not to collapse the soft walls.

2. Submerge it in a bowl of cold water for 3–5 seconds to cool it slightly.

Step 3: Molding the Mouthguard

1. Place the mouthguard over your top teeth.

2. Bite down gently to hold it in place.

3. Use your fingers to press firmly against the material.

Focus on molding it to the anatomy of your teeth, especially around the outside walls.

For Braces: Do not press the mouthguard against the braces or teeth. It will naturally form around the brackets and wires.

Step 4: Customizing the Fit

1. Close your mouth and suck your lips tightly against the mouthguard.

2. Continue pressing with your fingers over your lips to form an impression.

3. Hold this position for 1 minute and 30 seconds.

4. Allow the patented material to settle, as it will provide an even tighter fit after 24 hours.

Adjustments

If needed, trim the back edges of the mouthguard for a more comfortable fit.

To remold, simply repeat this process.
